A number of recommendations were made in tree surveys carried out in the winter and summer months. Following these recommendations, we have been granted a Faculty to commence tree maintenance in the Churchyard. This is planned in two phases – initially to carry out safety work, then ongoing management to achieve a safe and attractive environment .
We were recently presented with two Insect Hotels to place in the Churchyard. These were made by young people working with North Yorkshire County Council and will be a wonderful contribution in our efforts to care for the wildlife and inhabitants of our beautiful Churchyard.
