Over the last five years, St Stephen’s PCC with the support of the local community has worked hard to renovate the church building, and so remove it from the Heritage at Risk Register and safeguard this place of worship and community asset for future generations. The last piece of the jigsaw was the toilet outside the church which as of March 2020 is now installed and in use. As part of this project, extensive research was undertaken into the church’s history over the centuries and its integral place within village life. The fruits of this research can be found in the heritage booklet (please click here) and in the interpretation boards and other information to be found within the church.
